Getting VendSys established

 

The establishment of VendSys is triggered by VendSys receiving the confirmation of the VendSys Provisioning Terms which will have been sent to you. The VendSys Provisioning Terms confirmation includes:

The Company and Logon information confirm who VendSys is to communicate with for a variety of setup and support tasks.

Once the confirmation has been received the following steps will be undertaken:

 

Establishment of your customized and secure Database

VendSys Support will create your database and all supporting resources. Many data tables in the database will be pre-populated with standard data eg vending machine Manufacturers and Models.

 

Loading the VendSys software and Establishing Logins for Users

VendSys Support will coordinate with your Administrator the software installation requirements and timing. VendSys can be installed on any number of PCs within your company. There is no restriction to the number of PCs or users.  All VendSys access security will be maintained by VendSys, both initially and ongoing.

 

Each User will have security profile. Security profiles can be customized for each Company. Initially your database is setup with one category of User and that is as a Local Administrator. As VendSys is rolled out in your company additional profiles can be added to suit the different roles and responsibilities of your company staff. The Administrator is to request and define which Users have which profiles. Contact VendSys Support to enable additional security profiles.

 

Ordering and configuring Handheld devices

VendSys support will discuss with the Administrator the desired use and level of functionality of Mobile devices within the VendSys implementation. This will define what level of mobile device hardware is purchased. Generally the VendSys customer will purchase the devices and associated equipment directly. If VendSys is to receive the equipment for configuration and setup then it should be delivered to :

The mobile devices will then be pre-configured and sent to you ready to use.

 

Ordering and Installing Remote Monitored DEX Readers

This equipment and systems implementation needs to be discussed in detail with VendSys Support.

 

Training

VendSys will conduct training as required via remote desktop support sessions.
